ROMANIA 2005 Mint set & Silver medal

Mint set dedicated to the celebration of 105 years from the start of building works at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Carol Davila" in Bucharest.

The 2005 official Mint set includes the circulation coins from both, the old and the new issues, with face value of 1 Leu, 100 lei, 500 Lei, 1.000 Lei, 5.000 Lei, 1 Ban, 5 Bani, 10 Bani and 50 Bani.
The set also includes a silver medal. The obverse features the building of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Carol Davila" while the reverse shows the bust of Carol Davila, the founder of the Romanian school of medicine.
Issued, packed and sealed officially by the National Bank of Romania.
The Coin Set is minted in a limited edition.
