ROMANIA 2004 Mint set & Silver medal PROOF

The 2004 official Mint set includes, besides the circulation coins, a silver medal dedicated to the 50th Anniversary of the new building of the Opera and Ballet Theatre in Bucharest, a neoclassical construction, with interiors well-known for their elegance and sobriety.
The obverse and reverse of the medal depict the building of the Romanian Opera House, the anniversary years and a design dedicated to the first ballet show performed in this place. The folder shows a photo of the Romanian Opera House; the description of two rare Romanian gold medals also known as "jewel coins", with the years of issue 1939 and 1940.
Issued, packed and sealed officially by the National Bank of Romania.
The Coin Set is minted in a limited edition.
